What we do, in detail.
Five services, one workshop. Here's what each one covers, what it's good for and what helps us give you a clear, free quote.
3D printing
Strong, accurate FDM (filament) printing, including multi-colour work. Every print is set up for the job it has to do: the right material, the right orientation for strength, and wall and infill settings that suit the load. One part or a full batch, it gets the same attention.
Good for
- Printing a file you already have
- Functional parts, brackets and mounts
- Multi-colour parts, signs and models
- Small batches of the same part
Materials
- PLA: crisp detail, great for indoor use and display pieces
- PETG: tougher, better with heat, damp and outdoor use
- Other filaments when a job needs them. Just ask
- Not sure? We'll recommend what suits the job
What helps us quote
- Your STL, 3MF or STEP file, or a link to it
- What the part does and where it goes
- How many you need
- Colour, and any finish you're after
Straight talk: FDM printing is ideal for strong, practical parts, and you may see fine layer lines up close. If your job needs ultra-fine detail, we'll tell you honestly whether it's the right fit.
Repair and replacement parts
That one broken clip shouldn't mean throwing out the whole thing. We measure the original, model it, print a test piece to check the fit, then make the finished part. If the original broke because of a weak spot, we'll strengthen it so the new one lasts longer.
Good for
- Clips, catches and fixings
- Knobs, handles and covers
- Brackets, housings and guards
- Parts for machines, vehicles and kit that are no longer made
How it works
- Measure the original, even if it's in pieces
- Model it, improving weak points
- Test-fit and adjust
- Print and finish the final part
What helps us quote
- Photos with a ruler or tape measure in shot
- The make and model it belongs to
- What it does and what broke
- The original part, if you can get it to us
Design
No 3D file? That's where we start. We turn sketches, photos, measurements or an existing part into an accurate CAD model, designed around how it will be made and how it will be used. Real-world fits, tolerances and loads are part of the thinking from the start.
Good for
- Turning an idea or sketch into a real part
- Modelling a part from the original
- Changing or improving an existing design
- Custom fittings, organisers and holders
What you get
- A model designed to be made, not just to look good on screen
- Sensible fits and clearances for real-world use
- Changes talked through with you along the way
- Ready to print, or ready for the next stage
What helps us quote
- A sketch, even a rough one
- Key measurements, or photos with a ruler in shot
- What it needs to fit, hold or connect to
- Where it'll live: indoors, outdoors, in heat or wet
Prototyping
Test your idea in your hands before committing to tooling or production. Printed parts can be combined with wood, metal, composites and electronics, so a prototype can look, fit and work like the real thing. Then we refine it, version by version, until it's right.
Good for
- Inventors and product ideas
- Enclosures for electronics
- Jigs, fixtures and workshop aids
- Testing fit and function before production
What you get
- A working model you can test and show
- Honest feedback on what works and what doesn't
- Changes made between versions
- Printing, fabrication, composites and electronics under one roof
What helps us quote
- What the prototype needs to prove
- Sketches, files or reference photos
- Rough size and any key parts it must fit
- Whether it needs to work, or just look right
Installation and maintenance
On-site fitting and upkeep for businesses, backed by years of building and installing custom exhibition stands across the UK and Europe. Whether it's parts we've made or work alongside your own team, the job gets done tidily and properly.
Good for
- Fitting parts and fixtures on site
- Displays, stands and fit-outs
- Ongoing maintenance and repairs
- Businesses needing a reliable extra pair of hands
What you get
- Careful, tidy work on site
- Wood, metal, composites and electrics experience
- Clear communication before, during and after
- Someone who knows the parts because they made them
What helps us quote
- Where the work is
- What needs fitting or maintaining
- Photos of the site or the kit
- Any timing or access needs
Not sure which you need?
That's fine. Tell us what you're trying to do and we'll point you the right way, even if 3D printing isn't the answer.
